Southwest Management District Commits Support to Convention

On June 4, the Southwest Mangement District (SWMD) Board of Directors voted to support the inagural AAPI National Convention Houston with a $10,000 contribution.

Within the boundaries of SWMD is the city’s most diverse populace; a place where English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and other languages are often heard. It is the Southwest District’s rich tapestry of cultures that makes Houston the ideal host for a national gathering of AAPI groups.
